Hi! My name is Emilie and I have been musical since the age of six and teaching piano and voice since 2016 in San Francisco. I recently moved to Sausalito and am excited to build a community of students here! I love helping students ages 5+ to read music, enjoy music theory, play and sing favorite songs, compose music, and gain confidence performing.

I'm originally from Westchester, New York. I attended The New School for Jazz and Contemporary Music before transferring to Barnard College and completing a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Science (all the while playing in bands and taking musical electives). After graduating, I had the privilege of working as a research assistant in Antarctica and also got to perform at a British research station.  While I loved my experience in science, I found I felt much more excited at the piano than in the lab and have been teaching music and performing ever since. I am so grateful to get to share my love of music with others.
